In my continuing research about how to increase MPG and save you money, I recently heard about a website that supposedly had a method that uses water for gas. That sure sounded to me like some kind of crackpot idea and totally impossible. But I was curious enough to go investigate.

When I first read the contents of this website, I was immediately skeptical. But then I remembered doing some marketing work for a fellow about 25 years ago. His name was John, too. He had invented an automobile that burned several different types of fuel as well as getting power from solar energy.

I was also very skeptical when I first heard about his invention. In fact, I figured he had to be some kind of fruitcake. Boy! Was I wrong!!! This guy was about my own age at the time and really had to be some kind of genius. His *prototype vehicle did everything he claimed it could do in terms of being super fuel efficient. It also burned a form of "home-made" Hydrogen. (*See footnote for whatever became of that car)

So, although I was tempted to dismiss this water-for-gas website as the brainchild of some kind of day-dreaming wishful thinker, I didn't want to be wrong again and I forced myself to read at least a few more paragraphs.
